The 13 mile East Section consists of an 8 mile road walk and 3 miles of trail in Butler County and a 2 mile trail in Armstrong County through the Trailtown of Parker.

There is an 8 mile road walk between the State Game Land 95 West and E. Eldorado Rd trailhead in SGL 95 East.

The trail winds 3 scenic miles along the Bear Creek valley through State Gamelands 95. It descends to and follows a mixed hemlock forest along the N Branch Bear Creek, crossing at the Dead Crow Bridge.

It passes by historic oil industry artifacts, stone arch bridges from the original Rt 268 road, and a rock city.

The trail crosses Rt 268 at a trailhead parking area, winds through a mixed hardwood – hemlock forest then drops down to Bear Creek and crosses the Bear Mouth Bridge on the one mile hike along an abandoned railroad grade to S Jackson Ave.

There is a 2 mile trail section that follows S. Jackson Ave to Washington St (Rt 268). The trail descends along a sidewalk to the Allegheny River where the trail follows a sidewalk along North River Ave. The following Parker businesses provide hiker services.

The Eastern section ends at the Veterans Memorial Bridge crossing the Allegheny River on a separate pedestrian walkway. This connects to the Clarion Chapter section on the eastern shore of the Allegheny River where there is trailhead parking under the bridge.
