Camp-out and Labor Day Bridge
Walk on the Big Mac bridge/NCNST, Straits of Mackinac.
It's the only day of the year that you can actually walk the
North Country Trail across the Straits.

Volksmarch, Trail & Bridge Walk at
Middleville.
Middleville Volksmarch 10K Hike on the Paul Henry Thornapple Trail
(part of the NCNST) sponsored by the MOVES (Middleville
Official Volkssport Event Site) chapter of the AVA (American
Volkssport Association).
In cooperation with the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness, Health &
Sports 5 mile walk over the Mackinac Bridge, this too will be a bridge
walk -- but over four bridges.
Start at
gazebo in Stagecoach Park 9-11 AM, finish by 3 PM. Choose 5K, 10K, or 12K -- walk,
run, stroll, or
bike. See their
brochure for
more details.
Participants are required to register (for liability purposes) but may
do so for free if they wish. Alternative routing will be available
to NCTA members upon request.
