This Chapter has the awesome responsibility for developing and maintaining the North Country National Scenic Trail in the state of Minnesota where another Chapter or affiliate doesn’t exist.  They currently maintain a 40-mile segment within the Chippewa National Forest.

Members of this chapter come from around the state, but with a meeting point in the twin cities area. This chapter’s mission is to do outreach in the Twin Cities and support new chapters which will be located closer to the trail in northern Minnesota.

NCTA members in Minnesota receive the Call of the North, a newsletter that is printed 2-4 times annually.  It typically contains featured trail segments, agency partner profiles, hike reports, chapter updates, and an event calendar.  Several back issues are available for download below.
