Based in the Twin Cities, the Star of the North Chapter is responsible for a 10.5-mile segment of the NCT in Cass County within the Chippewa National Forest in northern Minnesota.

Members
Please join us! The Star of the North Chapter has about 85 members – mostly from the Twin Cities but from all over MN. You can be our newest member by joining NCTA / STN!
Chapter Activities
The Star of the North Chapter has volunteer opportunities for building, maintaining, promoting, and interpreting the Trail both up north and in the Twin Cities metro area. We host trail workdays and regular hikes on the NCT and hikes/ social events throughout the year in southern MN where most of the chapter members live. The chapter also represents the NCTA at several annual outdoors events in the Twin Cities.
