Join the NCTA Allegheny National Forest Chapter for a guided hike on the North Country National Scenic Trail! We’ll meet no later than 10:00 a.m. (ET) at the Sugar Bay trailhead (large parking lot). GPS coordinates: 41.889983, -78.886167

This will be an out-and-back hike, going south along the Trail. This section of Trail follows scenic Sugar Run upstream, then turns and goes up the lovely Hammond Run valley. The total distance will be determined by the trail conditions, weather, and energy of the hikers. Hikers are welcome to turn around at any point in the hike; a sweep will make sure all hikers make it safely back to their vehicles.

Please come prepared for the hike wearing appropriate clothing for the weather, sturdy shoes, and bringing your own food and water. Friendly dogs are welcome. Hope to see you on the Trail!
