Join the NCTA Allegheny National Forest Chapter on Saturday, July 15 for a summer trail workday! We’ll meet no later than 10:00a.m. at the Red Bridge trailhead located on Route 321, just north of the bridge and 9.4 miles south of Route 59.

On this day, we’ll be working doing a bit of mowing, clearing, and brushing. We’ll also be building some check dams and doing drainage work along a wet section of the Trail.

Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather, and bring your own water, food, and work gloves. All tools are provided and no special skills are needed. We encourage people new to trail work to come out and give back to the trail. There will be a job for you and a person to teach you what to do. Remember that “many hands make light work.” Hope to see you there!
