Scenic September Guided Hike
Join the Allegheny National Forest Chapter for a fall hike passing from the Kellettville campground through a beautiful rock city above Branch Creek and over the ridgeline to Four Mile bridge. As we pass through beginning section, you’ll be able to read the newly installed informational signs that explain the history of the area, rail grade and the lumber mill ruins that you pass through.
Our meeting time is 10:00 AM EDT at Kellettville in the parking lot next to the bridge and across from the Army Corp campground.

We will do and out-and-back hike south on the NCT. It is about 5.5 miles to go to the rock city and back, or about 8.2 miles to go out to the Four Mile bridge and return. The length of the hike can be adjusted based on the desires of the participants.
Please come prepared for the hike dressed in appropriate layers for the weather, and carrying your own food and water. Friendly dogs, on leashes, are welcome. We hope to see you down the trail.
