ANF Last 2025 Workday
The last trail work day of 2025 for our NCTA Allegheny National Forest Chapter will be on Sunday, Nov 2 at 10:00 AM EST (be sure to set your clocks back) meeting at the Kellettville Bridge parking. The parking lot is located on the south side of bridge over the Tionesta Creek on Branch Rd at N 41° 32.697’ W 79° 15.323’ (41.54495, -79.25538). On this workday, we will be constructing a reroute about 0.25 miles north of the Big Boulders Shelter. It’ll be about a half mile hike to get to the spot. Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather (blaze orange is encouraged), and bring your own water, food, and work gloves. All tools are provided and no special skills are needed. We encourage people new to trail work to come out and give back to the trail. There will be a job for you and a person to teach you what to do. Remember that “many hands make light work.” Hope to see you there!
