Join our Allegheny National Forest Chapter for our last fall hike!

We’ll meet no later than 10AM at parking on Guitonville/Muzette Rd. The parking is located south of Marienville, about 2.5 miles from Rt 66. It is on the left (south) side of the road at the beginning of FR 540; GPS coordinates N 41° 27.616’ W 79° 12.133’.

***This hike was originally scheduled for the nearby AMSLER SPRING trailhead, but was switched to GUITONVILLE/MUZETTE RD parking due to the possibility of snow.

We will do an out-and-back hike north on the NCT to the ridge above Little Salmon Creek, a total distance of about 7.4 miles. The length of the hike can be adjusted based on the desires of the participants.

Please come prepared for the hike dressed in appropriate layers for the weather, and carrying your own food and water. Friendly dogs are welcome. We hope to see you down the trail!
