Osseo Heritage Day Festival Hike
Join the Chief Baw Beese Chapter on a hike!
Hike location – Osseo, MI – Heritage Days Festival (MI LP 599) to Tripp Rd trailhead (near MI LP 602.5)
Hike length and type – approx. 7.5 miles (total) out and back
Start time – 8:00 AM
Hike lead & sweep – TBD
Hike details – We’ll start at the Heritage Days Festival, in downtown Osseo (MI LP 599), hike to the Tripp Rd trailhead (near MI LP-602.5), then head back to Osseo. The start and finish will be at the NCTA Chief Baw Beese Chapter tent at the festival.
Much of the hike is natural trail. Water crossings via the new bridge and a short log crossing at Otto Drain are present on this section of trail as well as a section of paved road walk through Osseo. The hike will be approximately 7.5 miles total.
There will be restrooms at the festival location, but no restrooms will be available during the hike. Please practice LNT principles.
The hike is dog-friendly, but dogs must be on a 6′ leash at all times. The hike is also family-friendly, but the use of strollers will be limited.

Post-hike activity: Osseo Heritage Days Festival and the New Bridge Celebration to follow at 2pm at Big Pines Brewing in Hillsdale.
