Chief Baw Beese Chapter- 4th Annual “Nearly” Summer Solstice Hike & Bonfire
Join the Chief Baw Beese Chapter for a summer night hike.
Hike location – Litchfield Township Hall (MI LP 581) to Fireman’s Park (MI LP 579.5)
Hike length and type – approx. 4.0 miles (total) out and back
Start time – 8:00 PM
Hike lead & sweep – Nikki S. / TBD
Hike details – We’ll meet at the Litchfield Twp Hall parking lot on Homer Rd. (M-99) across from the Mt. Hope Cemetery. The address is 9596 Homer Rd, Litchfield, MI 49252, however, do not rely on the accuracy of Facebook maps. Look for the NCT sign or use GPS coordinates 42.03386, -84.73531
Bonfire at Litchfield Nature Trail Campground near Litchfield Township Hall. Smores will be provided. Bring your own chair and beverages.
Overnight camping available – FCFS on camping pads. Bring your own supplies for camping. Camping is optional, on your own, not associated with the hike.
Outhouses available at Fireman’s Park. Modern restrooms at gas stations within walking distance of NCT.
