DESCRIPTION:\nSunset is 9:03 p.m. and civil twilight is 9:42 p.m. The Sun i
 s just below the horizon at civil twilight\, so there is generally enough 
 natural light to carry out most outdoor activities. Let's hike! The hike d
 istance will be about 3.0 miles. We will hike out and back from the trailh
 ead.\n\nThis event is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Bird Sanctuary. T
 he bird sanctuary is an example of a Pine Barrens landscape which is the h
 abitat for the Sharptail Grouse. We may even listen for and try to identif
 y birds using the Merlin ID app and your birding knowledge.\n\nPlease meet
  Teresa\, your hike leader and Brule-St. Croix Chapter member\, at the Bir
 d Road Trailhead just off County Hwy M at 8:00 p.m.\n\nPlease bring what y
 ou need to hike\, water\, snacks\, trekking poles\, bug spray\, and a head
  lamp/flashlight.\n\n
