Wildflower Hike – Jay Cooke State Park Visitor Center to Wild Valley Trailhead

Join the Brule-St. Croix Chapter for a hike on the Superior Hiking Trail/NCT in Jay Cooke State Park and the Fond du Lac State Forest. 6 miles, sponsored by the Arrowhead, Brule-St. Croix, and Kekekabic Chapters. We’ll see late spring wildflowers and might catch the annual appearance of showy ladyslippers.
Meet at the Superior Hiking Trail’s Wild Valley Trailhead no later than 9:30 AM to carpool to the Jay Cooke Visitor Center, or 10 AM at Jay Cooke if you wish to hike out-and-back. Dress for cool, possibly damp early summer weather; bring water, snacks, and bug repellent.
Optional lunch after at the nearby Wabegon Inn.
