Registration for the Buckeye Trail Association‘s 7th Annual Little Loop Challenge is open.
The Crooked River Chapter of the Buckeye Trail Association (BTA) invites you to celebrate National Public Lands Day by helping us hike the entire 256 mile Little Loop of Ohio’s Buckeye Trail in one day on September 23. Registered hikers will choose a segment of the loop to complete and we’ll gather to celebrate with a BBQ afterwards at the centrally located Silver Springs Park in Stow. If we all complete the entire Little Loop Challenge hikers will receive a commemorative patch at the post hike BBQ at Silver Spring Park in Stow. We can do it!
Participation is free to everyone! BTA Members who hike will receive a patch if we are successful. Non-BTA members may purchase patches for a $5 donation during the BBQ Dinner post celebration.
Little Loop Challenge t-shirts can be purchased separately from the online trail shop here. Please order early to allow time for shipping so you can wear your shirt the day of the challenge.
A catered BBQ dinner will be provided at the Oak Tree Picnic Shelter at Silver Springs Park in Stow, Ohio from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at a cost of $15/person. Pre-purchase required at time of registration. You may bring your own food and beverage as well. No alcohol. Be sure to order your BBQ dinner here.
