Have you thought about backpacking, but don’t know where to start? Are you interested in backpacking, but feel intimidated about going with seasoned backpackers? Well, the Western Michigan Chapter has a trip for you, geared toward first-time backpackers.

This the second of two informational opportunities, and you should attend this one if you plan to backpack.

Sparta Libriary, April 15, 6:00pm: Barb Cazier and Nancy DeJong will host an orientation for those planning to go on the first-time backpacking trip.

The backpacking trip will take place from May 30 at 2:30pm to May 31 about 12:00pm on the NCT in Newaygo County. We’ll hike between three and four miles both days.
