Join the NCTA Chequamegon Chapter on this hike that features an overlook at Upson Lake, an easy trail along the Potato River, a look at the Tilted Gabbro Campsite, Foster Falls and the Sullivan Fire Road, an unbridged road across the Potato River. There are no bathrooms. You will want to dress for the weather and bugs, wear a hat, bring bug repellant (perhaps a bug net), water, lunch, and a snack. Consider trekking poles, too. We will meet at 9:00 a.m. at the end of Upson Lake Road, which runs north from State Highway 77 just west of Upson. The rain date for this is Sunday, July 30.
