DESCRIPTION:Please join Chief Noonday Chapter on Friday\, January 1st for t
 he 15th Annual Shoe Year's Day Hike!\n\nThis 2 and/or 4 mile out-and-back 
 hike is on natural surface (rain\, snow or shine).\n\nStart and End Locati
 on: Long Lake Yankee Springs Recreation Area\, 10370 Gun Lake Rd.\, Middle
 ville\, MI 49333. There will be signage along the road and volunteer parki
 ng attendants directing you to designated parking areas.\n\nRegistration b
 egins at 10:30 am\nLook for volunteers holding "Short hike" signs to regis
 ter for 2-mile hike\nLook for volunteers holding "Long hike" signs to regi
 ster for 4-mile hike\n\nHikes will begin as groups form. Turn around as de
 sired. Advise sweep when leaving group.\n\nOuthouses are available.\n\nLea
 shed pets are welcomed on the hike.\n\nHot beverages\, breakfast sandwiche
 s and pastries will be available for purchase from the "River Road Food Tr
 uck."\n\nA campfire will be going for warmth!\n\nNew members who join Chie
 f Noonday Chapter the day of hike will receive $10.00 towards their member
 ship fee.\n\nCome out to help kick off the 2027 Hike 100 Challenge!\n\nPle
