Fish Lake Trail Building
Help build new trail near Fish Lake in Barry County east of Orangeville. Lots of brush clearing and stump pulling!
The Chief Noonday Chapter will supply some tools, but please bring lopping shears, pruning shears, pruning saws, and mattocks or pulaskis if you have them. Bring sturdy gloves and wear long pants and sleeves even if it’s warm.
Bring water, snacks, and lunch. We will work until the trail is complete.
We will meet at the DNR parking lot on unpaved driveway near the intersection of Lindsey and Keller Rd. in Orangeville Township. From the intersection of Lindsey and Keller, go south on Lindsey and almost immediately turn left (southeast) on unpaved driveway at sign marking the work day. Trail a short distance on driveway to parking area.
We will also be meeting for an optional breakfast before the work day at Bowen’s Family Dining, 11176 M-43, Delton, MI at 8 am.
