Chief Noonday Chapter Self-Guided Storybook Hike
The Chief Noonday Chapter invites you to an out-and-back self-guided storybook hike on natural surface.
This hike starts Friday, May 29, and will run through Sunday, June 7, 2026 from dawn to dusk.
Along the trail you can enjoy reading the children’s book, “And the Bullfrogs Sing: A Life Cycle Begins” by Author David L. Harrison and Illustrated by Kate Cosgrove a Michigan Illustrator. This picture book uses lyrical text to explain the life cycle of a bullfrog, from egg to tadpole to froglet to adult, covering diet, hibernation, and growth.
Hike starts and ends at Mile Marker 509.7 using Avenza Map 072 on Noonan Road, Hickory Corners, MI 49060.
