Fort Custer needs a good grooming! The Chief Noonday Chapter work group will meet at the Augusta Trailhead (just East of Augusta past the RR Tracks on M-96 just North of M-96, across from the Recreation Area entrance).

We will be clearing brambles and vines that come out into the trail. You will be walking along the trail and essentially giving it a haircut! We will have some tools available, but battery-operated hedge trimmers, loppers & pruners are all needed.

This is a good way to make some new friends, share stories, and enjoy this section of trail without a lot of effort.

This should take approximately 2 ½ hours. We’ll be there rain or shine!

Anyone interested in having breakfast/coffee first can meet at the Dig-In Café, 111 W Michigan Ave, Augusta at 8:30 am.
