Chapter Workday – Kimball Pines Trail

The Chief Noonday Chapter built a new section of trail in Kimball Pines in June. Now it’s time to go back to work on the tread and clean up the corridor after a summer of growth.
The Chapter will supply some tools, but please bring mattocks, pulaskis, McLeods, and/or fire rakes if you have them. Bring sturdy gloves and wear long pants. Long sleeves are recommended even if it’s warm, as there are a lot of thorns in the area.
Keep a close eye on the weather – it’s November in Michigan; anything can happen.
Bring water and snacks. We will work until around lunchtime.
