Meet up with the Dakota Prairie Chapter at Jorgen’s Hollow and hike to the bridge which crosses Iron Springs Creek, an out-and-back hike of about 8 miles.

Due to the distance, this would be a moderate hike. The terrain is gravel with some sandy spots and it is relatively level with some gently rolling hills. We will see the grasslands with many trees and some open spaces.

As the year progresses, we may see more snow or clearing snow. Thus, check meetup.com, and be sure to RSVP if you are thinking of attending. That way we know how many will attend and we can contact you if anything changes, like the possibility of needing snowshoes.

After our hike, we will be gathering at the Silver Prairie Saloon in McLeod for refreshments and social time.
