Many trail users are hiking on this date to celebrate National Trails Day and the North Country National Scenic Trail. The Trail in North Dakota has been divided into sections and hikers can choose where they want to hike, how many miles they want to hike and when they will hike on this date.

The NCTA Dakota Prairie Chapter is attempting to cover the entire North Country Trail in North Dakota with hundreds of hikers in one day. We also have organized gatherings for the hikers after their hikes at 5:00 p.m. (CT).
