SUMMARY:Scenic Hike
DESCRIPTION:The Dakota Prairie Chapter is hosting a hike through the open p
 rairie and the oak savannah in the Sheyenne  Grasslands.\n\nWe will meet a
 t the East Trailhead near Jorgens Hollow Campground.\n\nWe will be led by 
 Brent who will share his knowledge of the birds and plants\; we may see sm
 all animals as we hike. Bring your binoculars if you would like a closer l
 ook at the birds or other wildlife.\n\nWe will hike from the trailhead to 
 Iron Springs and back which will be about 8 miles and take 3-4 hours. Due 
 to the distance\, it is a moderate hike with gently rolling or flat terrai
 n. Since it is an out-and-back hike\, those who wish to hike a shorter dis
 tance can turn around earlier.\n\nRemember to bring water\, a snack\, and
