DESCRIPTION:Join the Harbor Springs\, Jordan Valley 45 N\, and Hiawatha Sho
 re-to-Shore Chapters on an 8-mile through hike\nin Sections 10 and 11\, fr
 om Cecil Bay Road to Mackinaw City.\nSection 10 includes balsam\, cedar an
 d pine forests. It crosses Carp River and French Farm Lake dam. It include
 s many puncheon walkways over streams and wet areas. Two miles of the trai
 l border French Farm Lake with many scenic views and waterfowl viewing.\nM
 any lady slipper flowers and other flowers are likely to be in bloom durin
 g the time of this hike.\nSection 11 includes views of French Farm Lake an
 d crosses a gas and oil pipeline. It has many puncheon walkways and goes t
 hrough hardwoods and pine forests.\nPart of the trail follows the Northwes
 tern State Trail which is paved between Trails End Road and Mackinaw City.
