DESCRIPTION:Join members of the Hiawatha Shore-to-Shore Chapter on a hike: 
 a beautiful section of the NCT past Rat Lake and the Swamp Lakes. See bog
 s\, fens\, pitcher plants\, cotton sedge\, and maybe a bear track or two. 
 This is a relatively easy 5 miles as a majority is on back country two-tra
 ck.\nThis hike will start with our gathering where the North Country Trail
  crosses CR500 north of CR 414 at the intersection of CR506. There is off 
 road parking at the intersection. From there\, we will carpool south to th
 e start of the hike and hike back to our vehicles.\n\nThe length of the hi
 ke will be 5.25 miles. There is always an option to hike in and back out a
