SUMMARY:National Trails Day - 3 Chapters Hike - Mackinaw City\, MI
DESCRIPTION:To celebrate National Trails Day\, the Harbor Springs Chapter w
 ill be hosting a three-chapter hike along with the Jordan Valley 45° Chap
 ter and the Hiawatha Shore-to-Shore Chapter.\n\nWe will all gather at 9:00
 am at the North Central State Trailhead pavilion\, a block east of 109 S. 
 Nicolet St.\, Mackinaw City\, half a mile due mile south of the bridge.\n\
 nAt 9:30am\, volunteers will drive hikers to the starting point at the Cec
 il Bay Rd. Trailhead. (If you plan to drive hikers\, please prepare your c
 ar for passengers.)\n\nMAPS: \nNorth Central State Trailhead 109 S. Nicole
 t Street\, Mackinaw City\, MI.\n\nWhat3Words (address popcorn.mascot.kitte
 n)\n\nGoogle Maps\n\nHike Options:\nLong Hike (~8.0 miles): Cecil Bay Rd. 
 trailhead to Mackinaw City trailhead. If there is interest\, we will tack 
 on a side hike to the Mackinac Bridge on the way to a restaurant for pops 
 and sandwiches.\n\nShort Hike Options: These hikers can drive and park the
 ir cars at the French Farm Lake (FFL) NCT Tailhead and:\na. (~5.0 miles) f
 rom Cecil Bay Rd. to FFL Trailhead\nb. (~3 miles) Park at FFL Trail Head o
 r somewhere along FFL and hike to Mackinaw City\nc. Other out-and-back hik
 es from any of the points noted above.\n\nHighlights along the trail inclu
 de: The new Carp River Bridge\, the dam at French Farm Lake\, French Farm 
 Lake\, Mackinaw City and\, of course\, The Bridge.\n\nThe terrain is mostl
 y flat with a few hills by the lake and a little road walk. Watch the weat
 her and dress accordingly. Bring water\, snacks and a friend.\n\nFollowing
  the hikes\, we will ferry drivers back to their car.\n\nAfter the hike\, 
 all are invited to lunch somewhere in Mackinaw City. If the group is large
 \, we may need to split up. Suggestions so far are for Audie’s Restauran
 t and Dixie Saloon Brewery.\n\nThe Jordan Valley 45° Chapter runs from St
 arvation Lake Rd.\, near Manceloa\, to Harbor Springs. The Harbor Springs 
 Chapter starts in Harbor Springs and runs to the Mackinac Bridge. The Hiaw
 atha Shore-to-Shore Chapter runs from the Mackinac Bridge to the Two Heart
