Volunteer Appreciation Hike & Lunch October 18, 2025
Near Boyne Falls, All Welcome
Giem Rd. and 131 to Kuzmic and Camp 10 Rds. (just off Thumb Lake Rd.)

For the hike, at 9:30, we will gather at the hikes end at Camp 10 Rd. (just South of Thumb Lake Rd., mile marker 646.5). At 10:00 we will ferry hikers to the hikes start at the railroad crossing on Giem Rd. (mile marker 652.5, just east of US 131) and then head out. Total hike ~ 6.0 miles.

This section is hilly, mostly dry and is a mix of woods trail, two-tracks and roads. Of course, dress for the weather.

Afterwards, there is a volunteer appreciation lunch. All are welcome to either, or both, the hike and/or lunch.

Volunteer Appreciation Taco Bar Lunch – Chandler Township Hall at ~2:00 PM.

Please join us for a Taco Bar Lunch as we express appreciation to those who volunteer their time. All past, current and future volunteers are welcome. Come to either, or both, the hike and/or lunch. Lunch is open to everyone, no need to bring a dish.
