You’re invited to join the NCTA Ely Northwoods and Kekekabic Trail Chapters for a unique hiking opportunity on the future NCT route east of Ely.

• Sunday 9/28, 9:30 a.m., meet at the Ojibway Lake public access (map)
• Paddle across Ojibway Lake to the roller portage at Triangle Lake
• Hike the flagline for the new trail from the roller portage to Jewell Lake (map)
• Paddle back to the Ojibway landing from the Jewell Lake/Ojibway Lake portage

Anticipate finishing up between 1 and 2. Bring along water, lunch and sturdy hiking shoes. Canoes, paddles, and life jackets will be provided. Register for the hike by sending an email to kek@northcountrytrail.org.
