DESCRIPTION:Join Laurentian Lakes Chapter members and friends as we hike th
 rough a newly acquired section of Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge.\n\nGla
 cial topography dominates this section of trail as evidenced by the gradua
 l transition from hardwoods to boreal conifers. There is a gradual climb u
 p to a ridge\, partly on single-track and partly on an old road.\n\nFrom D
 etroit Lakes\, head east on State HWY 34 for 15 miles\; north on Becker CO
 . 37 for 2.3 miles\; west on Becker CO. 126 for 2.6 miles\; then north on
