Join Respect Marquette County and the NCTA Marquette Area Chapter for a Leave No Trace 101 Workshop at Barrel and Beam. This workshop is free and open to the general public. All ages are welcome!

We will be sharing about Respect Marquette County, which is a coalition made up of a variety of organizations from around the county that aim to inspire locals and visitors alike to protect our natural resources. We will be teaching the seven Leave No Trace principles and other beginner Leave No Trace skills. Marquette Area Chapter President Lynn Meister Thomas will be sharing more about the North Country Trail, which is a National Scenic trail that runs through Marquette County and goes all the way from Vermont to North Dakota.

Come by to see how well you know Leave No Trace, learn more about how you can protect the places you love to play, and how you can support the trails in your community! The bar at Barrel and Beam will be open (for those 21+) and we will be providing snacks.
