SUMMARY:Spirit of the Woods March Hike
DESCRIPTION:Join the Spirit of the Woods Chapter for a hike on Saturday\, M
 arch 2\, 2024 at 10 am.\n\nWe will be hiking in Sawdust Hole\, which is so
 utheast of the town of Brethren. The hike will be starting on a spur and j
 oining the North Country Trail. Distance will be dependent on hiker’s pr
 eferences and the conditions on the day of the hike. You can do more or le
 ss as the hike is an out and back hike.\n\nDepending on conditions\, you m
 ay need traction devices such as Yax Trax (or possibly snowshoes) on your 
 boots.\n\nThe meeting location for the March hike would be the small parki
 ng area near the spur trail (this is within the small Forest Service Sawdu
 st Hole campground NOT the DNR Tippy Dam boat launch). You can see the Goo

 art.\n\nIf this area is snowed in on the day of the hike\, you will see th
 e group parked on Dilling Road where the trail crosses Dilling. If you don
 ’t see anyone on Dilling Road\, drive to the Sawdust Hole parking area. 
 We will hike west from where we park.\n\nThe hiker parking area is on a sp
 ur that joins the North Country Trail at approximately milepost 811 on the
