Join the Spirit of the Woods Chapter for the July Hike on Saturday, July 11.

We will meet at Lagerquist Road off Coates Highway. We’ll save our knees and lungs and hike from Lagerquist Road, also called Forest Road 5484. We will be parking on Lagerquist Road. Please carpool to reduce the number of cars.

Our out-and-back hike will head west of Coates Highway. We have not hiked this section for a chapter hike in recent memory.

Note: in April, High Bridge Road was damaged by a road collapse. Please ensure your driving directions route you on alternate roads to access the trailhead east of the town of Brethren.

We will plan to go approximately six miles, although some may want to hike longer. We can discuss distances at the start of the hike. This area is hilly, and the weather has warmed up. Please be sure to bring water for the hike.
