Meet up with the Sheyenne River Valley Chapter at the Rosebud Visitor Center at 250 West Main, Valley City, ND to drive to Clausen Springs Recreation Area Trailhead, 5010 114th Avenue SE, Kathryn. Trailhead coordinates 46.68233 -9804612.

We will hike from there to see the crocuses, back to the Ladies Line Segment, then around the Clausen Springs Lake and back to the trailhead.

Plan to lunch at Kathryn at the Sheyenne Saloon on your own.

This is an approximate 5-mile hike or you can hike straight back to the Clausen Springs trailhead for a shorter hike.
