National Trails Day, Waterfall Hike

Join the NCTA Wampum Chapter on National Trails Day for a beautiful waterfall hike!
Meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Point parking area of McConnell’s Mill State Park. McConnell’s Mill Road is on the right (just past the intersection with Johnson Road in Portersville).
We’ll hike a loop up Slippery Rock Creek from the mill, cross the covered bridge, and hike to Eckert Bridge via the North Country Trail. Once on Eckert, we will cross take the Breakneck Falls trail. We will take a break at the falls before returning on the Kildoo Trail back to Alpha Pass. This will be a casually paced hike giving opportunity for pictures.
Sturdy footwear is recommended. Bring your own personal beverage and/or snack if you wish.
