SUMMARY:Family Backpacking Trip
DESCRIPTION:Has the thought of taking the family or yourself backpacking cr
 ossed your mind? Join the Wampum Chapter for a short overnight at the Sank
 ey Hill shelter! The shelter is approximately 1/2 mile from the starting l
 ocation.\n\nThis is open to families\, including kids eight and under.\n\n
 Families must supply camping accommodations fitting their needs (tent\, fi
 rst aid kit\, sleeping bags\, etc.) and must carry in. Click here for advi
 ce on what to bring.\n\nWe will meet at the Wampum Depot (see location abo
 ve) at 5pm Friday\, July 11\, then drive to Sankey Hill trailhead. After a
  short hike\, we will set up camp. Along the way\, we will learn about tra
 il etiquette\, reading trail markers\, and Leave No Trace.\n\nWe will retu
 rn to vehicles no later than 11am on Saturday morning.\n\nA simple dinner 
 and breakfast will be provided. Bring additional food\, snacks\, and water
