The NCTA Wampum Chapter will meet at Hell’s Hollow parking in McConnells Mill State Park, and depart promptly at 9:00 a.m.

The hike will follow the NCNST / Slippery Rock Gorge Trail to Walnut Flats. We will take a break to catch our breath at the flats before returning back. On the way back, we will take a little detour to see the falls. Total distance is 9 miles out-and-back.

This trail is rated difficult with multiple elevation changes. Trekking poles are helpful. Please bring plenty of water and a snack. Sturdy hiking shoes are a must.
