Protect the North Country Trail. Its survival is in our hands.
In our fast-paced world, we need a place to slow down and breathe. The North Country Trail is that place. Your gift protects and provides access to the beauty and spirit of the Trail, not just for today but for future generations.
Becoming a member of the North Country Trail Association has never been easier. The Association is built upon donor memberships, which means your annual support qualifies you as a member. This is true if you are a first-time donor or if you are renewing your membership. Making a gift is the first step.
Membership has its perks: As an annual member, you will receive a one-year subscription to the North Star magazine, timely news about the Trail, and a powerful voice as we fight to protect the Trail. A membership to the Association gives you access to North Country Trail experiences throughout the year. You are invited to join a local Chapter or become an at-large member. Either way, you have an important role in our community, and are welcome to join a hike or workday, or connect at any time.
Your membership makes an impact! Thanks to you, the North Country Trail Association will continue to provide and support programs designed to challenge Trail users and connect people to the outdoors. Together we will build and maintain this National Scenic Trail, and together we will protect it – for today and future generations. It all begins with a gift.
Join today: Donation memberships begin at $20 and gifts of $100 or more will be recognized in the Association’s Annual Report. Members of the Founders Circle will receive special invitations to the Founders Circle Reception at the Annual Celebration. Make an even bigger impact as a sustaining member through the monthly giving option. Visit northcountrytrail.org/donate to make your gift. After, you will be routed to membership information, including a listing of the Association’s Chapters.
Thank you for being a part of something amazing: the North Country Trail Association Community.
Ways to Give
Make a donation and become a member or renew your membership.
Gift a membership, or give in honor, memory, or support of someone.
A gift of land or stock is often a very tax-wise way to make a generous gift to the trail and receive a significant tax benefit.
Deferred or planned gifts such as bequests, charitable remainder trusts or retained life estates can make great tax sense for you and your heirs and benefit the mission of the NCTA well into the future.
If you represent a corporation or work for a corporation that is interested in the mission of the NCTA and would like to support that mission there are a number of marketing and philanthropic opportunities that will give maximum exposure to your corporation.
Our supporters choose to give generously and strategically. Their gifts place them in special giving clubs that benefit the organization in many ways. Members of each giving club receives benefits commensurate with their giving level.
