MI-07 – Charlevoix County to Mackinac Bridge


Segment Length: 81.4 miles

Included on this map: Mackinaw State Forest, Wilderness State Park

This section of the trail spans a variety of Michigan environments; from the thick hardwood forests and the Chandler Hills, to the open expanse of farm fields. The trail rambles through the North Central Michigan College campus and the City of Petoskey. As the trail runs north, there are beautiful views of Lake Michigan along Sturgeon Bay. This section is completed with a trip across the Mackinac Bridge.
