MI-12 – Little Garlic Falls to Alberta **NO LONGER IN STOCK**
Segment Length: 68.3 miles
Included on this map: McCormick Wilderness (Ottawa National Forest), Craig Lake State Park, Escanaba River State Forest, Copper Country State Forest
This section of the North Country National Scenic Trail passes through one of the more remote and wild portions of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. The trail segment showcases rugged rock outcroppings, lakes, and streams. Because of the formally designated wilderness and other factors, some portions of the trail will be more difficult than in other areas. Hikers will view a wide variety of vegetation ranging from northern hardwoods and pine stands to boreal growth on more severe, rocky areas.
