Visitors to Lonetree can expect to see a wide variety of habitats including prairie wetlands, native prairie, planted native grasses, and a whole host of trees and shrubs. A wide diversity of wildlife is also present in the area. The primary resident wildlife species found at Lonetree include sharp-tailed grouse, ring-necked pheasant, gray partridge, white-tailed deer, coyotes and moose. Migratory species include a wide array of wildfowl and other wetland wildlife.
