The Harbor Springs Chapter’s segment of the North Country Trail is from the Mackinaw City trailhead to Kipp Road, east of Harbor Springs.
Here, the trail winds through Wilderness State Park; over the forested sand dunes of Sturgeon Bay; across a cedar swamp; along several streams; and into the NCTA Trail Town of Mackinaw City. The Harbor Springs Chapter volunteers maintain their segment in partnership with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, as well as others.
