The Ni-Miikanaake Chapter’s segment of the North Country Trail is from the Wisconsin-Michigan state line to M-64 in the Ottawa National Forest.
Here, the trail winds through the Ottawa National Forest, Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park, and Gogebic County Forest; and along the Black and Presque Isle Rivers. Ni-Miikanaake Chapter volunteers maintain their segment in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, as well as others.
