Honor Awards - North Country Trail Association

NCTA Chapter, Affiliate, and partner leaders can select volunteers to receive Honor Awards for demonstrating loyalty, commitment, and hard work annually to the local organization’s chosen activities. These are different in that there is no nomination; the award is guaranteed.

Any Chapter, Affiliate, or Partner who manages more than 200 miles of NCNST is entitled to one (1) honor awardee per 100 miles they maintain. For example, the Superior Hiking Trail Association (MN) may select up to three (3) Honor Award recipients; the Buckeye Trail Association (OH) may select up to eight (9); and the Finger Lakes Trail Conference (NY) may select up to three (3).
