October Trail Work Day
Enjoy fall in the ANF by spending time with others giving back to the trail you love!
On this workday, the Allegheny National Forest Chapter will be constructing some stream crossings, clearing trail, and repairing trail tread. We encourage people who are new to trail work to come out and join in. There will be a job for you and a person to teach you what to do.
Location: Rt 948 Cherry Run Trailhead. The trailhead is located about 3 miles SE of the intersection of Rt 666 and Rt 948. Look for the sign to tell you to turn off Rt 948 to get to the NCT trailhead.
Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather, and bring your own water, food, and work gloves. All tools are provided and no special skills are needed. Remember that “many hands make light work”. Hope to see you there!
