Chief Baw Beese Chapter- Hike With The Hounds
Join the Chief Baw Beese Chapter for a hike with the hounds!
Hikers wishing to hike with a shelter dog will need to come early and register at Greater Hillsdale Humane Society (GHHS) before the hike start. This group will then hike to the Tripp Rd. trailhead to meet with all other hikers to start the official hike at 11:00 am.
The hike will go from Tripp Rd trailhead (MI LP 602.5) to Tote Rd trailhead (MI LP 601.25+) and back. Hikers with shelter dogs will continue on to GHHS. Trailhead GPS coordinates: 41.863813, -84.513304
Donations for GHHS are optional, but will be collected both at the shelter & the Tripp Rd trailhead (Nikki’s truck will be the collection point at the trailhead). Shelter needs will be posted closer to the hike date.

Hike terrain: Natural path trail + gravel road (b/w GHHS and trail start)
No restrooms are available near this section of NCT. Please practice LNT principles (pack in/pack out). Cell service in this area may be limited.
This hike is family & pet friendly. This section of trail is NOT suitable for strollers. Dogs must remain on a 6′ leash at all times and must be picked up after.
