Spirit of the Woods (northern Lower Peninsula MI) April Chapter Hike
The Spirit of the Woods Chapter’s April hike (which was previously postponed) is now going to be on Saturday, April 11 at 10 am. We are changing the trailhead to the Timber Creek trailhead, east of Branch, MI due to flooding at our previously planned Silver Creek Pathway hike. We hope you can join us!
NOTE: The trailhead is at the end of the small road into the campground.
There is a $5 day use fee, or you can use the federal annual Forest Pass, Interagency Pass or Interagency Senior Pass.

Be aware that early in the spring, we may also encounter downed trees as the trail workers are just now getting out on the trail to clean up after this winter with its heavy snow and winds. The section we plan to do from Timber Creek has hopefully been cleared of any major blowdowns. In other areas as people are starting to get out to hike this spring, we are getting reports that many of sections of trail in our chapter have a lot of trees across the trail.
