Training Hike for the A-100
Whether you are preparing for the Allegheny 100 Hiking Challenge or are just excited to get into the forest and see new spring growth, we welcome you to our April hike!
We’ll meet at Henry’s Mill Trailhead on Rt 666. It is located on Rt 666 at about 3.5 miles south of Rt 948 on the SE side of the bridge over the Tionesta Creek.

We’ll hike south, following Messenger Run upstream. It is about 4.0 miles to FR 410 and back, 6.4 miles to the lovely Pell Run Campsite and back, or 11.2 miles to go all the way to Hunter Station Shelter and back. The length of the hike can be adjusted based on the desires of the participants.
Please come prepared for the hike dressed in appropriate layers for the weather, and carrying your own food and water. Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome. Hope to see you there!
