Join the Laurentian Lakes Chapter and discover more miles of the NCT across Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge with chapter members and visitors.
Tamarac National Wildlife Visitor’s Center is north east of Detroit Lakes. Drive 7.5 miles east on MN State HWY 34 for 7.5 miles. Turn north on Becker CO. RD 29 for about 10 miles where Becker CO. 26 begins.
Hike from the Visitor’s Center out and back and choose how many miles you want to do.
We’ll be near an osprey nest and an area with beaver activity. Wear sturdy shoes, bring water, and be prepared for ticks.
