After taking the summer off, the Grand Traverse Chapter is ready to resume our monthly meetings. Our next meeting is at 7:00pm on Tuesday, September 15 at the Boardman River Nature Center.

Dave Fenlon from the National Park Service will give a presentation on the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore maintains over 85 miles of official hiking trails on the mainland. Come learn about the variety of trail offerings through the four seasons, accessibility options, and things to keep in mind when exploring the lakeshore. Questions will be encouraged throughout, and there will be a Q&A at the end (time permitting).
